January 29, 2010: Stephen withdrew from U.S. Nationals due to injury. He is currently working with a physical therapist and will be back on the ice training in Wilmington with coach Priscilla Hill as soon as he is ready.

November 21, 2009: Stephen finished tenth in the short program and seventh in the free skate to finished 8th overall. His final score was 188.31.

October 31, 2009: Stephen finished seventh in the short program and fifth in the free skate to finish sixth overall. His final score was 195.08.

October 11, 2009: Stephen placed second in the short program and fifth in the free skate to win the bronze medal at Finlandia Trophy.
