Ryan finished 4th at Skate Canada; placing 6th in the short program and 3rd in the free with a points total of 190.55. He will now wait to see if he will qualify for the Grand Prix Final.

Ryan won the silver medal - his first ever Grand Prix event medal - at Skate America after finishing 4th in the short program (60.83 pts) and winning the free skate (125.88 pts).

Ryan will be skating in the Olympic Hopefuls Exhibition and Benefit at 7 p.m. on September 25, 2004, at the Brentwood Ice Arena in Brentwood, Missouri. The show is sponsored by the St. Louis Skating Club and tickets will be sold at the door for $7. Programs and beverages will be available and all proceeds benefit the skaters.

The ISU has released the Grand Prix Event assignments and Ryan has been scheduled for Skate America and Skate Canada.
