Congratulations to Parker for winning Skate Detroit in July!
Parker is currently working on his new long program, Xotika/Cirque Du Soleil (Journey of Man), with choreographer Pasquale Camerlengo.
Finlandia Trophy/Move to Virginia
The U.S. Figure Skating Association has announced that Parker will compete in the Finlandia Trophy Event, October 12-14, in Vantaa, Finland. Congratulations Parker!
Parker recently moved from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Fairfax, Virginia to train with coach Audrey Weisiger. “The first person I thought of was Audrey,” Pennington told the U.S. Figure Skating Association in early June. “At competitions, she's very involved with her students, so I never really got to talk to her, but I liked what she did. I think it's definitely going to turn out to be a good move.” Parker has just re-choreographed his long program from the 2006-2007 season and is currently working on landing a quad lutz.
