August 2007

Hi everyone. So, what is new with me? I recently did Skate Detroit, which I won. I skated well overall, and was pleased with how it went for the first time out this season. I debuted a new short program that Nikolai Morosov choreographed to Flamenco a go-go. And I used my long program from last season (techno mix), which I re-choreographed (just for Detroit).

I now have a new long program, choreographed by Pasquale Camarlengo. It is to the music Xotika and Cirque Du soleil (journey of man). It has some of my influence in it, as well. And, I absolutely love the program. I am playing the character of a mystical person who becomes a tiger.

As for life outside of skating, it has been wonderful as well. I have now adjusted to all of my new surroundings, and it has been awesome because there is so much to do in the DC area. I have recently made trips to Georgetown and Alexandria. I also went to see the Pat McGee Band at Wolf Trap Farm Park in Vienna, VA. I also plan to make a trip to Virginia Beach before the summer is over, as well as to the King's Dominion theme park.

Other things on the agenda are learning to play guitar, learning to paint, and taking a trip into DC to the art museum. I have also been playing a bit of tennis, as well as ping pong. I am really good now at ping pong, but my tennis needs some work. But nonetheless, it is great just playing. Also, I have had friends over for cooking nights which has been fun as well. So, all in all, everything has been great. Busy, but that is the way I like it. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to check out what is new with me, and be sure to check back soon to see what all I have been up to. Bye!

June 2007

Hi everyone. It's been awhile, so I will fill you in on what is new with me. I recently moved to Virginia to train under Audrey Weisiger. Following my skate at Nationals in January, I knew there were a lot of things I wanted to improve on, so I decided to explore my options and see what else was out there. The minute I started working with Audrey, I knew she was the right fit. She began addressing all of the things I needed to work on. I also had a short program done by Nikolai Morosov…just in the week I worked with him, I learned a great amount. I believe my program is a great representation of the skater I am looking to become.

As for life outside of skating, I am exploring colleges in the area (George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College). I will be doing some coaching as well. I am living on my own for the first time, which so far has been good. And it is nice to be back on the east coast, closer to my family in Connecticut. In my spare time, I am going to try and learn how to paint and play the guitar. I am also getting into tennis a bit. Anyway, that is just about everything that is new with me. Thanks for visiting my site, and come back soon to see what I am up to!

January 2007

Hello again everyone. Nationals are now several weeks away and I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I couldn't be more prepared. This is the time of the year where I want to hit that peak performance level, and I think I am in a great position to do so. Technically and artistically, even since Mids, I feel I have drastically improved. I want to be in that upper echelon of men, and I feel confident that now is my time.

That said, I know that I have to continue to prove myself and my words won't mean anything if I don't do my job. But I am fully confident that I am capable of being at my very best come Nationals. I have been very busy with my training, but I still find time to do fun things as well. I have made several trips to Denver to shop, and continue to cook as well. My parents came out to Colorado for the holidays, which was very nice. I don't get to see them very much, so my time with them has been busy but great.

I want to thank all of you for taking the time to read my entry and following my season. I appreciate everyone's support and encouragement. And, have a Happy New Year!
