Hey!

Thanks for coming to my site!  I just got back from Germany. A lot of interesting things happened there.

As most of you are aware of, they introduced the new ISU judging system at Nebelhorn Trophy in Germany. I am not sure I have a complete and justified understanding of the whole system, but for the most part I liked what I saw.

It was so different to see all the scores come up, and to watch the point system. It's no easy to explain so I'm not even going to try.

I have to say this system was very beneficial to me, and the skaters who have a strong second mark. I was very happy with my outcome of 3rd in the short, 3rd in the free skate, and 3rd overall.

It was my first event of the season. It was also the first senior international competition that I have ever attended.

I am now getting some more work done on my programs, preparing for a show, and also getting ready for my next international. The International Committee has selected me for a competition to be held in Croatia. The competition will give me a complete bye to the U.S. Championships in Atlanta.

Taking one event at a time, I am very much looking forward to my travels ahead.

All my love,

Nick
