Hello Everyone.

It's been a while since my last entry, and a lot has happened. I competed at Junior Worlds in Norway, along with going back to my hometown in Massachusetts to do some shows.

I am currently breaking in new skates for the upcoming season, and am under new guidance for the 2002-2003 season. Let me fill you in....

Junior Worlds was a great experience for me. I skated very well in two programs, but a very disappointing third program. I finished overall in 10th place, and was very satisfied with the end result. For my first Junior World Championships, I did not expect a top ten finish.

I recently went home to Massachusetts for two shows in my hometown. I skated very well and got three standing ovations! It was very exciting to see all my friends and my family, and it was also very exciting to be able to skate for all my hometown supporters.

At the show, I was presented with an award from the Mayor of Gardner, Massachusetts for outstanding achievements in the sport of Figure Skating.

I also was presented with an award from the state of Massachusetts for outstanding athletic abilities, and recognized by the State House for my recent win at Nationals, and being named to the World Junior Team.

Along with all these travels, I have made a split from my coach Ken Congemi. Ken helped me in the 2001-2002 season tremendously, and directed me in the path of making my goals and dreams come true.

Due to personal conflicts, we are no longer able to work together and I am under new Guidance. I thank Ken for all his help, support, hard work, and dedication to me. I will remain on the International scene as planned for the 2002-2003 season.

Now that I am on a low key part of my schedule, I am breaking in new skates and learning new elements. Next is to attend the 2002 Team USA Sports Medicine workshop in Colorado Springs, and to test my senior freestyle.

I will update everyone on the status of my skating at a later date.

With love,

Nick
