Hi everyone,

I finally have enough time to sit down and write a new journal entry. My schedule has been very hectic with traveling home to do some shows out on the East coast.

I recently flew back to Massachusetts to do the Wallace Figure Skating Club's Annual Ice show. It was so much fun to skate here, as I have done in the past. I also got to see a lot of friends and family since it is very close to my hometown.

I skated in three shows that day and did two different programs. I skated to the Doors in the morning show and in the afternoon and evening I skated to a song entitled, "Superman."

In the night show, I skated the most amazing performance that I have yet to deliver in my skating career with a double Axel, triple lutz, and a triple toe. My friends and family commented on how much more confidence I now have in my skating since making the move across the country.

While at this show I got to see friends that I usually only get to see at competitions. Kelsey Drewel, Laura Handy, Amy Bobrick, Jon Hunt, and many more made the day lots of fun.

The following weekend I was home, I skated in my hometown of Gardner, MA, in the Monadnock Figure Skating Club's Annual show. This is the skating club where I learned to skate, so therefore I always come back to do their show.

As the hometown crowd filled the arena, I skated my night performance clean. I again skated my two programs here to the Doors and then "Superman" in the second half. I dedicated both performances to my close friends of whom skate at the Colonial Figure Skating and helped me make the move out here to Colorado.

After skating clean once again, the program concluded with a standing ovation. It was such an amazing feeling to have in front of my hometown, parents, and friends.

In May, I flew back home to do my home club's annual ice show. I skated to the "Superman" program three times. Twice the program was clean, and once I stepped out of the triple lutz.

My previous coach Beth-Anne Duxbury commented on how much more enjoyment I have in my skating, along with feeling, and consistency. This was great to hear, and to be able to keep a close relationship with her. I thank her so much for all of her help and support.

My shows come to and end for now, I am going to be preparing for the competition season right away. As I start the training I will be unable to see my family until Nationals in LA.

Hopefully when my parents come out to LA, they will finally be able to see me win my first national title and be named to the Junior World Team.

For now, I am working on my jumps and my long program. My new long program is different for me but I enjoy it a lot. Hopefully you will be able to see me compete sometime this season and I hope you notice a difference.

Come back and visit my site soon, for we are working on a new design, adding new photos, and also making new updates. So be sure to check back in :). Thanks for coming to my site.

With love,

Nick
