Two-time U.S. Champion Alissa Czisny, who claimed her second national title last weekend in Greensboro, N.C., appeared in a Chrysler commercial played during Sunday’s Super Bowl. The commercial, which is titled “Imported from Detroit”, features Czisny, a member of the Detroit Skating Club, as well as Detroit rapper Eminem.
For Rachael Flatt, 2010 has been a year to remember. She won her first U.S. Championship, competed at the 2010 Olympics and toured with Stars on Ice. Wow! Far out! Alissa Czisny was the classiest part of that ad. It was like seeing a Renoir in a car commercial. Detroit should cast a bronze statue of her, put it right outside the museum there.
