JOURNAL

November 10, 2009

It's been a long while since I have updated you all!

First thing is first Regionals were slightly dramatic for me.  I woke up for the day of my short program with my head pounding, and coughing. FANTASTIC. Did not really think about competing, but thought about simply living. On the other hand I think Mom and Dad were more worried about me competing.  Anyway I took my temperature at home 104.2. WONDERFUL. I'm pretty sure it's not suppose to be that high, so I skipped morning practice and went to the doctors instead.  She basically told me that I was sick and told me to go home and rest. Well that wasn't an option. . . instead Dad just drove me to the good old Cabin John Ice Rink and I pulled out 2 programs to get me to Sectionals! Last week I JUST got a call from my Doctor telling me that I had the H1N1. Thanks doc, you really helped out a lot.

On another note training before Regionals was not going very well, but training for Easterns is. It's at my home rink at the University of Delaware so I hope you all can make it!!!! I skate Friday at 6:40 and Saturday at 8:10, soooo be there, cheer loud. I want signs and stuffed animals. K thanks!

With lots of love,

Mel!
