11.21.09 — Marissa finished fourth in junior ladies at the Midwestern Sectional Championships in Wichita, Kan., with 130.66 points, which has qualified her for the 2010 U.S. Championships, Jan. 14-24, in Spokane, Wash. Marissa was fifth in the short program but pulled up to fourth in the free skate for a pewter medal finish.

01.21.09 — Marissa finished 12th in the junior ladies competition at the U.S. Championships in Cleveland, Ohio, with 105.16 points. She placed ninth in the junior ladies short program (42.28) and 12th in the free skate (62.88).

11.15.08 — Marissa finished second in junior ladies at the Midwestern Sectional Championships in Sugar Land, Texas, with 124.63 points. She was first in the short program (51.70) and fifth in the free skate (72.93). The silver medal performance qualifies her for the 2009 U.S. Championships in Cleveland, Ohio.

10.14.08 — Marissa won the junior ladies gold medal at the Southwestern Regional Championships. She scored 51.93 points in her second place short program and 88.71 in her first place free skate for 140.64 overall.
