Both Chloé and Joe have been skating since they were about five years old. Starting off as singles skaters, Chloé and Joe each trained under the same coach, Adam Leib. When Adam noticed that they both demonstrated similar idiosyncrasies in their skating, including both skating as lefties, he had Chloé and Joseph practice together to improve their singles skating. They officially became partners during the 2000-2001 season and have been working with both Adam Leib and Brad Cox in Bellmore, New York since then.
Chloé and Joe currently split their time between New York, and Canton, Michigan, where they train with Johnny Johns and Marina Zoueva. Placing third in the 2005 Nationals Junior Competition ranks among their career highlights. Their goal for the 2008-2009 season is to medal at Nationals and to earn an international assignment from the Indy Challenge. Their career goal is to make the 2010 U.S. Olympic team. Chloé and Joe also hope to have an injury-free season.
