training fund

1. If you are in the United States, you can send a check, money order or an international postal money order payable in US dollars. The check must be written out to the New England Amateur Skating Foundation (NEASF). In addition to sending the check, please include a note in the same envelope with the check indicating that your donation is towards the expense of Johnny Weir. Do not write the information anywhere on the check, including the memo line.

The NEASF does not currently accept any credit card payments or wire transfers. The Fund also cannot accept any checks written on foreign banks or in foreign funds. Please make sure that you only send a check, money order or an international postal money order payable in US dollars.

Send your check to:

New England Amateur Skating Foundation
Care of Missy Bennett
P.O. Box 6881
Providence, RI 02940

One hundred percent of the donation goes to the skater. The NEASF charges no fees and there are no deductions of any kind. All of the operating expenses of the Foundation are paid by volunteers.

The NEASF is tax-exempt under 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations, therefore, are usually deductible. Donors should consult their tax accountant or advisor as to how their contribution is to be treated.

2. If you are not in the United States, or must use a credit card, a paypal account has been created to accept donations for Johnny Weir only. Even if you are a United States citizen, documentation cannot be provided that this is a charitable donation, so we recommend sending your own check.

One hundred percent of the donation (except a 2.9% transaction fee) received in this account will be sent to the NEASF by check. Donations must be in US dollars to be accepted. In the comments section, please indicate your name, country and email address. The account is rubyred1231@aim.com.
