Untitled Document Saturday, April 15, 2000
Hi Everyone! I've been very busy lately, with shows and school and training. It's been very hectic since nationals. I recently did a really fun show in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Jenny Kirk, Tiffany Scott & Philip Dulehbon and Amy Bobrick all did the show too. It was so much fun. The saga of the show started the night before I left. I was jumping on my trampoline and I sprained my ankle!! It hurt so bad. But I had obligated myself to skating the show so I went up. I flew in and took Friday off. Then Saturday was the show. I had a practice the morning of. It didn't go well. My ankle hurt so bad, but I knew I had to skate. So all morning before the first show I had an ice pack on it. Then came the show. I landed my triple toe and triple sal and double axel but popped my triple lutz into a single. I was very happy that I at least got through the show! Then I iced more and had another show that afternoon. I skated clean and I skated clean in both programs that evening. I was very happy.

Right now I'm working hard on getting my new programs, quads and testing. My new short program is set to the music "Les Parpluies De Cherbourg." And in my long I'm skating to Russian folk music. My field moves are bad. HAHA! Especially my spirals! HAHA! And, quads, they're very good. I haven't landed them yet, but I'm very close.

Next weekend I'll be in Virginia doing a seminar with Alexei Yagudin, Alexei Urmanov, and Alexei Mishin. I think it will be very fun! I'm also getting ready for a show in Philadelphia called "The Edge Against Cancer." That should be a great experience. I'll give a full report on that! Thanks for visiting my site!

-Johnny
