NBC Olympics: At the Olympics, confidence – and executing under pressure – is oftentimes as important as talent itself.

That was on display Saturday night in the team figure skating event, when a 15-year-old named Yulia Lipnitskaya skated out onto home ice in front of nearly 10,000 of her compatriots and delivered – soundly.

“I felt nervous at the start of the program, but once I started, I just relied on my training,” the teenager told NBCOlympics.com. “I just skated.”
