Also this week, the National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame, founded this spring here in Chicago, announced the launch of its website and the opening of nominations for the first round of inductees.

I hope, of course, that both Nike—which might be interested in making room on its roster for an out gay male figure skater—and the Hall of Fame will truly consider Johnny.
