Blades for the Cure benefits the family of junior men's competitior Austin Kanallakan. The Kanallakan family was struck by devastating news when the father Steve Kanallakan was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a type of cancer formed by cancerous plasma cells in the blood.
