Kyoko and John are once again touring with Stars on Ice across the U.S., and this is one tour fans should not miss. Opening night in Lake Placid featured two amazing new programs. The first is "Shine on you Crazy Diamon" by Steve Lukather and it's like nothing you've seen before. The program is stunning and features all kinds of exotic new tricks. Their second number is to "Pretty Vegas" and is a high energy number with loads of exiting moves. In addition they rock it out as Axel Edge and his japanese schoolgirl fan in the group number "Hard Steel is Back." As if that weren't enough Kyoko and John perform a pairs trio number with Shen & Zhao and Dubreiul & Lauzon set to "Nessun Dorma." John all plays the lifter in a Sasha Cohen feature called "Enchantment" The show's opening to "Simply Irresistible" starts the show off with a bang and turns to the wistful with "Make A Memory" for the finale. This year's Stars on Ice tour is going to be especially fun for Ina & Zimmerman fans as John will be the author of the tour journal. As if that weren't already good enough, this year John will be shooting video as well! His first journal will appear the on the Stars on Ice website the week of November 5th.

Kyoko and John will be performing at The Music of Seal on Ice, a newly announced Disson show. The show takes place December 18th in Washington, DC and will air Janaury 1, 2008 on NBC from 3-5pm.

Stars on Ice has announced it's full cast and touring dates for the 2008 tour. Along with Kyoko & John the cast will include Todd Eldredge, Sasha Cohen, Jennifer Robinson, Yuka Sato, Michael Weiss, Dubreiul & Lauzon, Shen & Zhao with guest star: Ilia Kulik. Complete tour dates can be found on the Schedule page. Ticket information is available at starsonice.com. Ina & Zimmerman started their season this month at the Michael Weiss Foundation show turning in a rocking performance of "Piece of My Heart." They're currently working on the music search for this year's programs.

Kyoko and John have kepty performing as the summer has gone on, performing in several summer shows. In late July they skated for fans in Japan and in August returned again to Sun Valley, Idaho. In both shows they skated their Stars on Ice numbers, "Piece of My Heart" and "Beautiful" chosing to keep skating them because of how much they enjoy both numbers. Sun Valley turned out to be a bit of an adventure with Kyoko arriving only four hours prior to showtime thanks to some weathre delays. They're currently listening to endless cds trying to find the right music for this year's tour.

John and wife Silvia will be holding a skating clinic at the Thomas Creek Figure Skating Club in Fairport, NY on September 16th. To participate in the clinic you'll need to fill out a registration form and submit to the club.

Kyoko & John will be busier than every this fall with ten events alone on their schedule so far. From benefit shows (Kimmie's, Michael's and Scott's) to international specials (two in Japan) they're performing all over. Fans around the U.S. will be happy to know that they'll be performing on the Stars on Ice tour again this year. And the tour will be making a series of stops in Japan as well! Kyoko and John have just finished the Canadian Stars on Ice tour and are currently enjoying their summer break from what seems like endless months of touring. On the Canadian tour they performed their "Piece of My Heart" program as well as the same group numbers as in the U.S. tour. Fans loved the high-flying tricks and the applause was large at every stop. The photo gallery has also had a large update with photos from four events added.

Another season of Stars on Ice got under way last month with a fantastic debut in Lake Placid and this year's a real must-see for Ina & Zimmerman fans as for the first time they have two solos! Their first is a revamped version of "You're Beautiful" that they'd put together for the 2005 WOrld Team Challenge. The second is to "Pieces of My Heart" by Melissa Etheridge and was a high energy number that got a huge audience response. The show opens with music from the Superman soundtrack and the first half closes to a comedy number entitled "Peace, Love, Skating" that features radical sixties costumes and wigs! The second half opens with "The Heist" a jewel robbery mystery piece and this half also includes another guys only baseball number "Swing." After all of this excitement the show finally closes with "I Believe I Can Fly" Be sure to check the tour schedule for a show near you.
Kyoko and John performed in Fashion on Ice in Trenton, NJ on December 1st and it was a unique format with the skaters wearing costumes designed for them by four famous designers. Kyoko and John skated on solo to "Harder to Breathe" and the performance was just as good and full of energy as it was when they first skated on the 2005 Stars on Ice tour. Their gold costumes were designed by Lotta Stensson. In the second half they skated a duet with Steven Cousins to "Wicked Game" performed live by Chris Isaak. Their costumes were done by menswear designer Tomer.
At the Bryant Park tree lighting ceremony the team skated to the christmas classic "Chestnuts Roasting On A Open Fire." Skating fans in Europe should look for the spring edition of Spanish Vogue as John will have a whopping twelve page spread! Kyoko & John, Steven Cousins, Todd Eldredge and Jennifer Robinson will perform at the Bryant Park Tree Lighting in New York City on Tuesday, November 28 at 7:00 pm. Come watch these skaters as they light the Christmas Tree at Bryant Park. Located at 42nd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.

Kyoko & John have just finished a busy week with two shows in the space of week. First was Kurt Browning's Gotta Skate 6.0 in Toronto. First up was their Stars on Ice number "Vertigo" which thrilled the crowd with all high-flying tricks. Their second number was "Am I The Only One" performed live by the Bare Naked Ladies. It was a slower number choreographed just for the show and showed that Kyoko and John are just as good at the slower numbers.
Next the team was off to Las Vegas for the Holiday Celebration on Ice. Their they skated two holiday themed numbers: "Little Drummer Boy" by Linda Eder and "The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole. Both were full of their stunning lifts and graceful edges. John also skated with Caryn Kadavy in her program "Christmas Fantasy." You can see Kurt's show on NBC, December 17th 2006 from 4-6pm and the Holiday Celebration on NBC, December 25, 2006, 4-6pm.
Next up is the Bryant Park Ice Rink Opening on October 30th, which has been moved to 1:30pm and then it's Scott Hamilton CARES on November 4th. The Central Park celebration has been postponed til sometime next year.

Kyoko and John have two more shows scheduled in New York City. The first is the opening of the Bryant Park ice rink on October 30th. The second is a series of shows celebrating the history of Central Park on Nov 5th-9th. Kyoko and John will be skating at Wollman Rink in Central Park and the special will air on CBS later this year. The tour dates for Stars on Ice have been announced - see the Stars on Ice website for a complete list of dates and cities. The theme for this year's show is "Double Exposure: The Many Lives of Figure Skaters."

Good news for Kyoko & John fans - they will be touring with Stars on Ice again this year! Even more exciting is for the first time they'll be skating two numbers. Stars on Ice will have it's opening night in Lake Placid on November 25th. The big US tour will begin in mid-January and run through April; exact tour dates not yet available. Kyoko & John also have one more event on their schedule for the fall - the Scott Hamilton CARES gala in Cleveland, Ohio on November 4th.

Kyoko & John will be appearing in the Michael Weiss Foundation show on September 9th in Reston, Virginia. The show benefits the Weiss Foundation that gives scholarships to upcoming skaters. Tickets are on-sale now. There's a new photo gallery open with off-ice photos from last season. Also there's some more details on the Fashion on Ice show: Disson Skating brings Fashion on Ice, with special guests Frederique and Chris Isaak, to the Sovereign Bank Arena on Friday, December 1. Frederique van der Wal, one of the most recognizable faces in the modeling world will be the host of the night, while skaters show off the hottest fashions of today. Chris Isaak, who's best known for his hit song "Wicked Game," will supply the music for the models to strut their stuff to. Kyoko & John have one more event scheduled for this season, a show in Morrisville, NY on June 3rd. The show is a benefit for Freedom Guide Dogs. More details on the Schedule page. Kyoko & John will once again be very busy next season with several Disson skating shows already scheduled: Kurt Browning's Gotta Skate VI in Toronto on October 13th; Holiday Celebration on Ice in Las Vegas on October 20th and Fashion on Ice in Trenton on December 1st. Additionally John will be skating in Brian Boitano's Skating Spectacular in Loveland on Dec 16th. See the Schedule page for details on all of these events.
This summer skaters will also have a chance to take lesson's directly from John. He and his wife Silvia Fontana will be doing a series of summer skating clinics around the country. John is currently cheering for Silvia in Notti sulle Ghiaccio (the Italian Skating with Celebrities on RAI International Fridays at 8pm) and in August she will be on the Italian skating tour.

John Zimmerman Joins Yahoo! Sports Team as Skating Analyst John will be the official skating analyst for the Yahoo Sports skating skate. John will report each day from Torino, Italy detailing the events that unfold on and off the ice. That website section is not yet active but will be in two weeks. It will be under "Olympic Sports" from the Yahoo! homepage. Also this site now has several photos of John and Jillian from their appearance on Skating With Celebrities.

Kyoko & John started out December in London, Ontario for the World Team Challenge, one of the few pro compeitions still around. They were on team USA with Todd Eldredge and Caryn Kadavy and they finished third in the pairs and team overall. Their technical program was their high evergu Stars on Ice number, "Vertigo" which was an excellent high energy program. Marks 9.8 9.7 9.7 9.7 9.7 Total: 48.6. For the artistic, they debuted a stunning new program to "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt and while the program was a little rough for being new, it was still a gorgeous program and got a loud fan response.
From there Kyoko & John went to Richmond, Virginia for the Holiday Celebration on Ice where they performed two fun Christmas numbers to "Winter Wonderland" and "Do You Hear What I Hear." Both were numbers full of their trademark death defying tricks.
FOX has announced an airdate for Skating With Celebrities, it will run for six weeks on FOX from 8-9pm est starting January 18th.

Kyoko & John have had a busy November with performances in Sarah Hughes & Friends and then off to rehearsals and opening night of Stars on Ice. For Sarah's show they skated to two vintage programs: "Bed of Roses" and "Look At Little Sister." Both programs were excellent and received loud cheers from the audience. For Stars on Ice they have a fantastic new number to "Vertigo" by U2, choreographed by Peter Tchernyshev. It's a high energy number with big tricks and is definitely going to be a fan favorite! Kyoko & John are also part of each of the group numbers and this year's tour has five: "Lovely Sping / I'd Do Anything For Love," "Dance Medley," "Overture / Comedy Tonight," "Too-Me Tango" (John only), and "Sing Sing Sing."

Kyoko and John will be skating at Scott Hamilton's CARES gala on November 5th in Cleveland, OH. Complete. Kyoko will be joining Habittat for Humanity volunetters and Kyoko will join Habitat for Humanity volunteers and other special celebrity guests as they build houses for Hurricane Katrina victims which will will be sent down to the affected region. For 24 hours a day until midnight on Friday, Rockefeller Plaza will be turned into Humanity Plaza, with thousands of people working around the clock to bring relief to victims of this natural disaster. See her on the Today Show on Wednesday, September 28th at 9am EST.

This fall FOX tv is launching a new celebrity-reality show "Skating with the Stars" and John will be one of the skaters teaching the celebs how to skate. It's a six episode series that begins September 22nd. Other skaters appearing with John include Katarina Witt, Tai Babilonia and Oksana Baiul. As a result of the filming schedule, John will not be skating in the Atlanta Skating and Gymnastics special.

On August 28th, John married long-time love Silvia Fontana. They were married in a 10th century cathedral overlooking the Coliseum and the reception was held at the beautiful Villa Del Cardinale. The happy couple were joined by a variety of their fellow skaters including Kyoko and best-man Peter Tchernyshev among others. Photos of their wedding can be seen in the gallery.

John & Silvia graced the cover of the December 2003 issue of International Figure Skating and the issue included a four page article and photo spread about their August 28th wedding in Italy. They are also featured in the 2004 IFS calendar.

Kyoko and John have two more shows scheduled in New York City. The first is the opening of the Bryant Park ice rink on October 30th. The second is a series of shows celebrating the history of Central Park on Nov 5th-9th. Kyoko and John will be skating at Wollman Rink in Central Park and the special will air on CBS later this year. The tour dates for Stars on Ice have been announced - see the Stars on Ice website for a complete list of dates and cities. The theme for this year's show is "Double Exposure: The Many Lives of Figure Skaters."

Good news for Kyoko & John fans - they will be touring with Stars on Ice again this year! Even more exciting is for the first time they'll be skating two numbers. Stars on Ice will have it's opening night in Lake Placid on November 25th. The big US tour will begin in mid-January and run through April; exact tour dates not yet available. Kyoko & John also have one more event on their schedule for the fall - the Scott Hamilton CARES gala in Cleveland, Ohio on November 4th.

Kyoko & John will be appearing in the Michael Weiss Foundation show on September 9th in Reston, Virginia. The show benefits the Weiss Foundation that gives scholarships to upcoming skaters. Tickets are on-sale now. There's a new photo gallery open with off-ice photos from last season. Also there's some more details on the Fashion on Ice show: Disson Skating brings Fashion on Ice, with special guests Frederique and Chris Isaak, to the Sovereign Bank Arena on Friday, December 1. Frederique van der Wal, one of the most recognizable faces in the modeling world will be the host of the night, while skaters show off the hottest fashions of today. Chris Isaak, who's best known for his hit song "Wicked Game," will supply the music for the models to strut their stuff to. Kyoko & John have one more event scheduled for this season, a show in Morrisville, NY on June 3rd. The show is a benefit for Freedom Guide Dogs. More details on the Schedule page. Kyoko & John will once again be very busy next season with several Disson skating shows already scheduled: Kurt Browning's Gotta Skate VI in Toronto on October 13th; Holiday Celebration on Ice in Las Vegas on October 20th and Fashion on Ice in Trenton on December 1st. Additionally John will be skating in Brian Boitano's Skating Spectacular in Loveland on Dec 16th. See the Schedule page for details on all of these events.
This summer skaters will also have a chance to take lesson's directly from John. He and his wife Silvia Fontana will be doing a series of summer skating clinics around the country. John is currently cheering for Silvia in Notti sulle Ghiaccio (the Italian Skating with Celebrities on RAI International Fridays at 8pm) and in August she will be on the Italian skating tour.

John Zimmerman Joins Yahoo! Sports Team as Skating Analyst John will be the official skating analyst for the Yahoo Sports skating skate. John will report each day from Torino, Italy detailing the events that unfold on and off the ice. That website section is not yet active but will be in two weeks. It will be under "Olympic Sports" from the Yahoo! homepage. Also this site now has several photos of John and Jillian from their appearance on Skating With Celebrities.

Kyoko & John started out December in London, Ontario for the World Team Challenge, one of the few pro compeitions still around. They were on team USA with Todd Eldredge and Caryn Kadavy and they finished third in the pairs and team overall. Their technical program was their high evergu Stars on Ice number, "Vertigo" which was an excellent high energy program. Marks 9.8 9.7 9.7 9.7 9.7 Total: 48.6. For the artistic, they debuted a stunning new program to "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt and while the program was a little rough for being new, it was still a gorgeous program and got a loud fan response.
From there Kyoko & John went to Richmond, Virginia for the Holiday Celebration on Ice where they performed two fun Christmas numbers to "Winter Wonderland" and "Do You Hear What I Hear." Both were numbers full of their trademark death defying tricks.
FOX has announced an airdate for Skating With Celebrities, it will run for six weeks on FOX from 8-9pm est starting January 18th.

Kyoko & John have had a busy November with performances in Sarah Hughes & Friends and then off to rehearsals and opening night of Stars on Ice. For Sarah's show they skated to two vintage programs: "Bed of Roses" and "Look At Little Sister." Both programs were excellent and received loud cheers from the audience. For Stars on Ice they have a fantastic new number to "Vertigo" by U2, choreographed by Peter Tchernyshev. It's a high energy number with big tricks and is definitely going to be a fan favorite! Kyoko & John are also part of each of the group numbers and this year's tour has five: "Lovely Sping / I'd Do Anything For Love," "Dance Medley," "Overture / Comedy Tonight," "Too-Me Tango" (John only), and "Sing Sing Sing."

Kyoko and John will be skating at Scott Hamilton's CARES gala on November 5th in Cleveland, OH. Complete. Kyoko will be joining Habittat for Humanity volunetters and Kyoko will join Habitat for Humanity volunteers and other special celebrity guests as they build houses for Hurricane Katrina victims which will will be sent down to the affected region. For 24 hours a day until midnight on Friday, Rockefeller Plaza will be turned into Humanity Plaza, with thousands of people working around the clock to bring relief to victims of this natural disaster. See her on the Today Show on Wednesday, September 28th at 9am EST.

This fall FOX tv is launching a new celebrity-reality show "Skating with the Stars" and John will be one of the skaters teaching the celebs how to skate. It's a six episode series that begins September 22nd. Other skaters appearing with John include Katarina Witt, Tai Babilonia and Oksana Baiul. As a result of the filming schedule, John will not be skating in the Atlanta Skating and Gymnastics special.

John's episode of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy will be airing at the end of June on NBC. Kyoko, John and Silvia were in the June 13th issue of Parade magazine in answer to a question about what skaters had appeared on QE.

John appeared in the 2004 Spring/Summer issue of V-Man magazine in a feature about world-class athletes. John has also recently signed with Lacoste and will modelling and appearances for them.

Kyoko & John are currently touring the U.S. with the cast of Stars on Ice. In addition to their solo "Look At Little Sister," both Kyoko and John appear together and individually in several group numbers.
John filmed an episode of Queer Eye For The Straight Guy in the fall of 2003. The episode will air on Tuesday, February 24th at 10pm EST on BRAVO.

On August 28th, John married long-time love Silvia Fontana. They were married in a 10th century cathedral overlooking the Coliseum and the reception was held at the beautiful Villa Del Cardinale. The happy couple were joined by a variety of their fellow skaters including Kyoko and best-man Peter Tchernyshev among others. Photos of their wedding can be seen in the gallery.

John & Silvia graced the cover of the December 2003 issue of International Figure Skating and the issue included a four page article and photo spread about their August 28th wedding in Italy. They are also featured in the 2004 IFS calendar.Kyoko & John appeared on the Oct/Nov 2003 cover of Spotlight on Skating. The issue included a six page article and photo spread. The team talks about 2002 Olympics, John's wedding and modelling work, and Stars on Ice. They are also featured in the 2004 SOS calendar.

On June 18th, Kyoko and John helped out at a kids' figure skating clinic in Irving, Texas. The event promoted local awareness of the upcoming 2003 National Championships, which will be held in nearby Dallas, January 12-19.
