Holly finishes sixth at sectionals
Holly finishes third at regionals October 18, 2008 — Holly is headed to the Eastern Sectional Championships after winning the bronze medal at the South Atlantic Regional Championships.
Holly opens her official Web site at Figure Skaters Online September 4, 2008 — With her first international competition already under her belt, Holly is proud to open Holly Alexander Online, her official Web site at Figure Skaters Online.
Holly competes in Vancouver, British Columbia August 17, 2008 — Over the weekend, Holly competed at her first international competition, the BC SummerSkate in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Skating in the second group of novice athletes, Holly finished second in the short program with 33.67 points and fourth in the free skate.
Holly makes U.S. Figure Skating's Developmental Team February 29, 2008 — Based on her eighth place finish in the novice ladies event at the U.S. Championships, Holly was named to the U.S. Developmental International Team by U.S. Figure Skating. She will compete at an upcoming competition in Canada.
Holly placed eighth at the U.S. Championships January 21, 2008 — Holly placed eighth at the U.S. Championships in St. Paul, Minn. In her first appearance at the event, she finished eighth in the short program with 31.72 points and seventh in the free skate with 63.77.
Holly appears on Channel 6 Action News January 11, 2008 — Holly was featured on Philadelphia's Channel 6 Action News. In the feature titled Fire and Ice, Holly talks about her inspiration to keep skating and more. Watch Part I or Part II.
Holly wins Eastern Sectional Championships November 15, 2007 — Holly is headed to the U.S. Championships in St. Paul, Minn., this January after winning the novice ladies gold medal at the Eastern Sectional Championship. She was the only competitor in her group to break the 100 point mark. |
