February 27, 2008 — Chelsi and Danny finished 10th overall at the World Junior Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, with 123.93 total points, after a sixth place short program (49.37) and 12th place free skate (74.56).

In their free skate, the team landed a double twist, throw triple toe and a throw double Salchow. They also landed side-by-side double flips but could not perform their planned side-by-side double axel-double toe combinations after Guillen popped her axel.

Chelsi and Danny lead U.S. pairs in Sofia

February 26, 2008 — Chelsi and Danny earned the highest American finish in the short program at the World Junior Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria. They are currently in sixth place heading into the free skate Wednesday.

Chelsi and Danny started their 49.37 point short with a double twist. The team went on to perform side-by-side double axels and a throw triple toe.

Chelsi and Danny headed to World Juniors

January 26, 2008 — Chelsi and Danny are one of three pair teams headed to the World Junior Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, next month, U.S. Figure Skating announced today.

The pair earned a spot on the team based on their bronze medal performance in junior pairs at the 2008 U.S. Championships. Chelsi and Danny will be joined by U.S. Junior Pairs Champions Jessica Rose Paetsch and Jon Nuss as well as Bianca Butler and Joseph Jacobsen, ninth in seniors.

It's the third international event for Chelsi and Danny.

Chelsi and Danny win bronze

January 25, 2008 — Chelsi and Danny are national bronze medalists. After winning the junior pairs short program and finishing fourth in their free skate, the pair placed third overall with 134.58 total points.

Chelsi and Danny started with a double twist that earned them positive grades of execution. They also performed a throw triple toe, side-by-side double flips, a Level 4 spiral sequence and a Level 4 spin.

She had trouble on the side-by-side double Axel-double toe combination and also fell on the throw triple Salchow, the same move she missed in last year's free skate.

January 24, 2008 — Chelsi and Danny are leading after the short program at the U.S. Championships in St. Paul, Minn. The pair scored 53.65 in an effort that included a double twist, a throw triple toe and side-by-side double Axels.

"We feel really confident with that program so we knew if we skated well, we could be up there," Curzon said to the Arizona Daily Star. "Tomorrow we are going out there to do our job."

Chelsi and Danny win sectionals

November 17, 2007 — Chelsi and Danny are headed to the U.S. Championships for the second time after winning gold at the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships in San Diego, Calif.

The pair finished with 128.45 points, seven points more than the silver medalists. Chelsi and Danny won both the short program (49.26) and the free skate (79.19).

Chelsi and Danny take first in the short

November 16, 2007 — Chelsi and Danny finished first in the short program at the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships in San Diego, Calif. The pair scored 49.26 for their performance.

The competition continues Saturday with the free skate. The top four finishers from the sectional championships advance to January's U.S. Championships in St. Paul, Minn.

Chelsi and Danny place 10th overall

October 21, 2007 — After finishing ninth in the short program at Junior Grand Prix Great Britain in Sheffield, Great Britain, Chelsi and Danny finished ninth in the free skate to finish 10th overall with 110.37 points.

In the free skate, Chelsi and Danny earned 71.39 points with 38.18 for technical merit and 34.21 for program components. The pair landed a double twist, a throw triple toe, double flips, double toes and a throw double Salchow. They also performed a lasso to one had, side-by-side flying camel spins and a death spiral.

Chelsi and Danny are headed next to the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships. By placing fourth or better, the team will earn their second consecutive trip to the U.S. Championships.

Chelsi and Danny ninth after short

October 20, 2007 — At the Junior Grand Prix Great Britain event in Sheffield, Great Britain, Chelsi and Danny finished ninth in the short program. The pair had 38.98 points overall including 16.98 for program components.

Their performance included steps into double twist and a throw single toe. Chelsi and Danny also landed side-by-side double Axels, performed a one hand lasso lift and a death spiral for 22.00 technical points.

The event concludes Sunday afternoon with the free skate.

Guillen and Curzon Online is the ultimate source for information related to Chelsi and Danny. In addition to a comprehensive news page, the site also includes personal stats, competition results, program details and more.

The page also has several fun features including a journal, which Chelsi and Danny wrote before leaving for Estonia, and a contact form that allows people to e-mail the team directly.

Chelsi and Danny assigned to second JGP

October 2, 2007 — Based on their performance at the Junior Grand Prix Estonia event last month in Tallinn, Estonia, the U.S. Figure Skating Association assigned Chelsi and Danny to a second Junior Grand Prix event later this month. The pair will compete Oct. 18-21 at Junior Grand Prix Great Britain in Sheffield, Great Britain.

The event is also called the John Curry Memorial Competition in honor of British figure skater John Curry. In 1976, Curry won the gold medal at the Olympic Games, the World Championship and the European Championship. He also won the World bronze in 1975.

Chelsi and Danny place ninth overall

September 22, 2007 — Coming off a third place performance in the short program, Chelsi and Danny finished ninth overall in the deep field with 115.13 points, after an 11th place free. Their overall score would have placed them in the top five at the Junior Grand Prix event earlier this season in Lake Placid, N.Y.

The free program included a double twist, a throw triple toe, a throw double Salchow and side by side double Axels, which Chelsi stumbled on. The pair also had trouble on their side by side double lutz-double toe combination.

Chelsi and Danny third after short program

September 21, 2007 — Skating in their first international event since teaming up last season, Chelsi and Danny finished third in the short program today at the Junior Grand Prix Estonia competition in Tallinn, Estonia.

The team scored 44.24 total points in the event putting them behind Russia's Ekaterina Sheremetieva and Mikhail Kuznetsov (47.47) and Canada's Amanda Velenosi and Mark Fernandez (47.36). Chelsi and Danny's program included a double twist, a throw triple toe and side by side double Axels.

The event concludes Saturday afternoon with the free skate.

Chelsi and Danny headed for JGP Estonia

September 18, 2007 — With a summer of hard work behind them, Chelsi and Danny leave today for Tallinn, Estonia, to compete at Junior Grand Prix Estonia, their first international event since partnering up in 2006.

While the competition kicks off Thursday with the original dance and the singles short programs, the pairs event starts Friday morning with the pairs short program. The pairs competition concludes Saturday afternoon with the free skate.
