Evan to be honored March 9 at Toyota Sports Center
The Toyota Sports Center will host a reception to honor its Olympic Figure Skating team members and celebrate their outstanding success at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The reception will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Seating for the event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. »
Evan trades skates for dancing shoes
With an Olympic gold medal already to his credit, Evan now has his sights set on the Mirror Ball Trophy. Evan, who won the top prize at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada, has joined the cast of ABC's Dancing with the Stars for its 10th season, premiering March 22. »
Evan is the 2010 Olympic Champion
Evan skated the best performance of his career to win the Olympic gold medal, ending an 18-year reign of Soviet and Russian skaters in men's figure skating. Russian Evgeni Plushenko, the 2006 Olympic Champion and 2002 silver medalist, finished 1.31 points out of first-place despite winning the short program. »
