Why two flags at the top of my page?

I am an American of Colombian decent and was adopted at five months of age.

I came home on Mother's Day! We celebrate my "homecoming day" each May with cake in Colombian colors, and some special food such as empanadas or Ajiaco Bogotano- a chicken stew with potatoes, ears of corn, avocados, cream and cilantro.

I can't wait to visit my birth country one day!
