Hi Everyone,

I know it has been quite sometime since I have updated this site. 2007 was a difficult year for me as far as skating goes. I injured my back in the fall of 2006 and after last year's Nationals,  this injury forced me to stay off the ice for several months.

I returned to the ice in the summer and was skating really well when three weeks before Regionals my back flared up again. After many long discussions with my mom and coaches, Priscilla Hill and Carla Briccotto, we all decided that I needed to get off this emotional roller coaster and enjoy my senior year of high school.

I have been doing just that!!!!! I tried out for Basketball Cheerleading and made the team,  which thrilled me since I never cheered before. I have kinda become hooked on B Ball and find myself going to the away games also (we only cheer at home games).

I am very excited that I have been accepted to Temple University in the fall. I love Philadelphia and cannot wait to start college. GO OWLS!!!

Anyways, my back is finally feeling great. I have returned to the gym and am working intensively with a Pilate instructor. I hope to return to the ice in mid March. My team and I plan to take it very slow. Meanwhile, I look enthusiastically towards the future, whatever it may bring!
