Nationals this year was awesome. It was our best experience so far. Spokane was incredible - they really did a great job at promoting Nationals and packing the arenas. They had a Fanfest area were the skaters could interact with the fans, which was a great idea. On Friday after our event, we did a T.V. interview (which was our first ever), that was a great learning experience. Then Joe and I signed autographs. There were so many people and everyone was so supportive and nice.

As far as our skating went, this was the first time at Nationals that we put together two good programs. Usually, we have a good short program and then slip in the long, but this time we put them together and it was a really good feeling. The Junior Pairs competition was really great this year and everyone skated awesome. After Thursday, we were free and had a lot of fun. We watched all the other events and enjoyed that. Then on Saturday we got a nice surprise - they asked us to do the Exhibition on Sunday. This was the first time they asked junior silver medalists to skate the Exhibition, so it was exciting.

We brought back so many great memories from 2007 Nationals and look forward to making many more in the future. We again want to thank everyone for their support and kindness.
