October 6, 2006 It was quite a disappointment not being able to skate our long in Norway. We had been skating great all week, and the short program was one of our best skates. Our short program score was a personal best for our international competitions. We warmed up great the morning of the long program. We were feeling really good about the long and went out for the 6 min. warm up. We were supposed to skate second. It was during the last minute we went to do the throw triple sal and one of the other pairs skater skated behind me and I guess it distracted me. I must have panicked and opened up. I fell on the left side of my face. I blacked out so I don’t remember much after that. Joe carried me off the ice and after about two minutes I started seeing again. The doctors put ice on my face and examined it. I really wanted to try and skate, but I just couldn't. My vision was blurred and I was dizzy, the doctor said I couldn't skate. We took our bow and left. I was really upset, because I knew even though we were in 2nd, we probably wouldn't get out 2nd JGP. Now we are focusing on Sectionals and Nationals, we want our best showing at both. Bianca
