Alexe finished ninth at Four Continents.

After finishing eighth at U.S. Nationals, Alexe was assigned to compete at the Four Continents Championships.

Alexe finished tenth at Skate America.

Alexe finished fifth at Trophee Eric Bompard.

Alexe was mentioned in an article in the Steamboat Pilot & Today called Elite figure skaters train this week at Howelsen Ice Arena.

Alexe has been assigned to her first senior Grand Prix event, Trophee Eric Bompard.

Alexe has been named to U.S. Figure Skating's Team B envelope.

JANUARY 2009
Alexe finished 11th in the short program and 8th in the long program to finish 9th overall at U.S. Nationals. She has been named second alternate to Junior Worlds.

Alexe has been named a 2009 recipient of the Michael Weiss Foundation scholarship.

Alexe finished first in the short and fourth in the long to win the bronze medal at the Junior Grand Prix Final in Goyang City, Korea. She scored a total of 144.49 points which is a new personal best.

OCTOBER 2008
Alexe won the gold medal at Skate Safari Junior Grand Prix event in Cape Town, South Africa. Scoring 46.75 in the short program to finish third, she achieved a new personal best of 87.36 in the free skate to finish with 134.11.

Alexe's silver medal from JGP Mexico and gold from Skate Safari qualifies her for the Junior Grand Prix final for the second consecutive year.

SEPTEMBER 2008
Alexe scored 136.46, a new personal best, in route to winning the silver medal at the JGP in Mexico. She finished second in both the short and free programs.

JULY 2008
Alexe scored 50.93 to finish second in the senior ladies short program group A at Liberty Open. She followed it up by winning the free skate for senior ladies group B with a score of 94.79. Read more about it on icenetwork.com.

Alexe will skate at the Saturday, July 12th show in Lake Placid, NY.
