At the 2007 U.S. Championships in Spokane, Wash., 33 Figure Skaters Online athletes competed in five events, Championship Men's, Championship Ladies, Championship Pairs, Junior Men's and Junior Pairs. More than half of the Figure Skaters Online athletes are also reigning medalists from more than a dozen novice, junior and senior international competitions sanctioned by the International Skating Union, including the World Championships, where Evan Lysacek won bronze in 2005 and 2006. Though the athletes are focused on their skating, the athletes are also aim to make their official Web sites personal with the inclusion of touches including a blog, diary, journal or notebook, where the athletes share their experiences traveling the country and the globe. Many athletes also choose to include travel photographs from their personal collections from competitions including the Olympic Games and events including the summer Champions on Ice tour.
